Good luck!

Abbey Shader has chosen to remain in Ethra, a parallel dimension where those around her have begun to impose their seemingly impossible expectations. As the Melder, Abbey is required to balance all qualities accessible to the human spirit according to those she desires herself, during the process of the Breathing.

In the meantime, Abbey is determined to make sense of the pull she feels toward Zacharias Nellerwood, a beautiful boy from this strange new world. After accompanying him to the underground village of Preo, where his family have presumed him dead for ten years, Abbey begins to uncover certain secrets of the past that may impact her future.

Time splits as history brings the present to light, and with the guidance of the eclectic, immortal band of Essences, Abbey is brought closer to understanding the Truth and her place in it.

Luminessence is the second instalment of The Essence Chronicles trilogy.

'I just finished the eBook yesterday and I just loved it. The author created a fantastic and magical world I'd like to visit myself. The story was something new to me, I liked the characters very much, the diversity of them. I cannot choose my favourite though, because they were all greatly portrayed and unique. The story kept me hooked until the end, it was thrilling and funny. I really can wholeheartedly recommend this book. I enjoyed every page and second of "Essence" and cannot wait for the next book to see how the journey of Abbey Shader and her friends continues.'

'The first thing I have to say about this book is that it is very unique. I have read books about vampires, werewolves, fae, witches, and even incubi, but I have never read anything like this. It was so fascinating and refreshing to read something entirely new to me...'

‘Okay, you know how they say not to judge a book by its cover? Well, I LOVE this cover and I hoped that I would love this book. I DID! So good. It sucked me in from the first page and I couldn't put it down.'

'The writing is simple but still descriptive and clever and funny while not trying too hard. I found myself laughing, rolling my eyes, blinking back tears, and staring at my tablet with my jaw dropped. All good emotions to have while reading any book. The biggest compliment I can personally give any book is its re-readability factor. I don't often reread books so when I say that I would it's a compliment. I would re-read this book and I plan on purchasing in future.'

'This was such a unique read. I can honestly say I have never read anything like it before and that is what I enjoyed most. I was so intrigued by the characters of human qualities like good, evil, optimism, arrogance, etc. I found myself laughing out loud at them on one page and maddened by them on the next. I have never read a book with this concept and I absolutely loved it. Also, I have to give my Zac a shout out what a cutie!!'

'Essence is a wonderfully told story. The dynamics between the characters were interesting and realistic. I rooted for them and felt their hope and anguish deeply. The plot was unique and pulled me in quickly. I needed to know this world inside and out. I needed to know how Abbey would choose. My only complaint about this story was that it was over too fast.'

‘Essence was the most surprising read of this summer ! It was funny, unique, entertaining and it completely blew my mind ... I recommend this book to anyone that likes whimsical adventures, colourful

characters, unique settings and lots of laughter. I loved every bit of it.’

‘I absolutely blew through this novel in a matter of 24hrs. I was hooked from the very beginning and I must say, this was one heck of a debut novel! I loved it with a burning passion. The story was there, the background was there, for as much as I could see, there were not any noticeable grammatical errors, the plot is strikingly profound, and I will definitely be rereading this novel in the very near future!’

‘WOW! I loved this book. I read it in about a day, because I simply could not put it down. The writing captivated me from the beginning. There was a solid plotline the entire time, always something happening that impacted Abbey or the story in general. The best part, though, was these characters. They are all imperative to the story, and every single character brings something new to the table. I cannot say there was one single character that was "forgettable", they were all dynamite.’
